Women in Computing is hosting MarinaHacks: California State University, Long Beach's first women-centric hackathon. This free event is dedicated to bringing together women to hone their skills, develop confidence and fill the gender gap within the competitive tech industry.

As the tech industry is primarily dominated by men, MarinaHacks is CSU Long Beach's first female-centric hackathon. At MarinaHacks, our goal centers around the following:

Deadline: March 25, 2021

  • Compete solo or in maximum team of four.
  • You do NOT have to be a woman to compete; this event is inclusive to everyone.
  • You Will receive email and Discord announcements regarding Next Steps.
  • Main platforms for MarinaHacks will be Discord, Zoom, and DevPost, all links will be sent to you.
  • Will receive guidance and help from our staff throughout entire event
  • All hackers who attend workshops and submit projects will be sent free gifts; we will ask for your delivery address after event.
